How can a licensed broker can help me?

How do I hire a broker?

• Look for the real estate board or organization that specializes in your area and ask them for a referral contact.   In the Philippines, these are the Philippine Association of Realtors Boards (PAREB) or the Real Estate Brokers Association of the Philippines, Inc. (REBAP).
• For a reasonable fee, a complete list of active licensed real estate brokers in the Philippines may also be requested from the Bureau of Trade Regulation and Consumer Protection under the Department of Trade and Industry in Makati City.

The capital gains tax, documentary stamps, and 3% brokers’ commission will be for the account of the seller. The transfer frees, registration fees, and all other transfer expenses will be paid for by the buyer.
