Seems property developers are heading north these days, with a number of residential and business communities already sprouting in the general area of the Ortigas Business District.
Latest project is Aqua Verde, from Ortigas and Company itself, developer of the Ortigas Central Business District, Valle Verde, Greenmeadows, Greenhills, Tiendesitas and, more recently, Luntala Valle Verde.
The project has yet to be launched, but initial information as follows:
WHAT: 12 hectares of low-density, mixed-use development (Serendra at the Fort occupies 12.5 hectares), with the town center concept of pedestrian-scaled streets, access to retail centers and neighborhood facilities, and lots of open spaces.
WHERE: Calle Industria, Libis. Site is bounded by two rivers (Pasig and Marikina).
UNITS AVAILABLE (for turnover in 2012):
1 bedroom: 42-44 sqm
2 bedroom: 61-68 sqm
1 bedroom bi-level: 44-70 sqm
2 bedroom bi-level: 80 sqm
3 bedroom: 98-107 sqm
PRICING: Indicative price is P80,000/square meter.
We will be posting regular updates on Aqua Verde as more information becomes available. You may also call us for updates or email johanna@metrorealty.ph.

SIDE NOTE: WHY ELSE CAN’T I WAIT FOR AQUA VERDE TO START?
Got word that Ortigas and Company has partnered with a sports group to build a wakeboarding facility right in the Aqua Verde complex! It will probably take until next year to set up, but wow of wows, we cityfolk will soon have everyday access to a serious water sport, right in our own “neighborhood”!
